I think this is a great value product for the amount of feet you get in a spool. You can easily spend the 20 bucks on a much smaller roll. That being said, will it be any good? I am waiting for the season to start, we do a lot of snipping, so this spool will only last a month maybe, so it will be put to the test and will be coming back if it fails to compete with my other lines.
Given my initial impression of the line, I don't see why this line would not have good performance. The line is right on the money for it's thickness at 0.095" as you can see using the caliper. The square formation I think may give it some durability and the edges of the line feel pretty sharp. I did find that maybe there could be a more rigid feel to it's flexibility, however this is intended to be soaked in water first, this will give it some more durability and won't break off in pieces when hitting something harder on the ground. I would say most people do not soak these lines, so ensure you do this.
Overall, I think for the price this is a deal, If it competes well against the rest of the lines, which I feel it is going to do just fine, then I will be getting more. So for me this is recommended to try. Will update if I think otherwise.
