Although this charger is rated for up to 40ah batteries, has a lithium mod that says it is compatible with lifepo4 batteries as long as they have a bms, it struggles to charge the lifepo4. it's too expensive and is rated for 40ah? i use my noco1 and g750s on 100ah+ batteries no problem.

I wanted this to maintain a 30ah lifepo4 but after two days the charger was still on the 2 of 4 mark, voltage at 13 not the 14.4 or so needed. even though its only a 2A charger it should have taken less than one day to charge even if the lithium battery hadnt already been 40% charged.
The 3rd day the noco showed green and full charge. curious about the voltage i tested it, the voltmeter reported 19.8 volts so i immediately disconnected the charger. within a few minutes the battery reported 13.3volts, and reconnecting the charger the charger lit up with the overvoltage icon... at 13.3volts.

using this charger on lead acid, no problem, it works 100% as I'm accustomed to noco's working. as im passed the return window im forced to keep this one although i vastly prefer the noco1. I've never had a noco1/g750 have an issue with any lead acid so i am hopeful this one will behave better with lead acid.

i find the price of noco accessories obnoxious, nearly 25 for eyelets, 30 for 10ft extension, it's crazy. with my g750 i just made my own extension, cut the end off, stripped both sides, added 20ft of 16 gauge wire connecting red to red and black to black and it cost me under 10 bucks, works perfect. I've switched to battery tender jr for lead acid batteries of any size, they are cheaper, come with longer cables, clamps and the eyelets and work with anything lead acid or agm.

I will have to source a charger that actually works properly with the lithium iron batteries.
