This is my first ever book by Colleen Hoover. She has several books that have gotten .#1 New York Times bestselling. I understand why this would be a best seller.
I was sucked into this book from start to finishing. I absolutely needed to know what was going to happen to Lily. My heart was all over the place.
芦 There is no such thing as bad people. We鈥檙e all just people who sometimes do bad things 禄
There are certain characters I simply hate in this book and when I was reading what they did I simply wanted to yell at them. And then I would have my eyes water up because the love you feel between two people is without a doubt heartbreaking in the most beautiful way.
鈥淚f you don鈥檛 want to be with me 鈥 please tell me right now, Lily. Because when I saw you with him 鈥 that hurt. I never want to feel that again. And if it hurts this much now, I鈥檓 terrified to think of what It could to do me a year from now.鈥
At the end of the book there鈥檚 a Note from the Author where Colleen Hoover opens up about her parent and the abusive relationship between her mother & father. It helps to understand this book. 鈥 This books sheds light on women in abusive relationship that have trouble getting out of them, 鈥渨ho simply fell in love with men who didn鈥檛 deserve to fall in love at all鈥.
