  I seldom use a neck strap on my cameras. They impede lifting the camera quickly, and too often are just a garish advertisement for the camera manufacturer. If you don't want to miss a picture the camera needs to be in your hand, not on a neck strap or in its never-ready case!
  
  This wrist strap is thoughtfully designed and beautifully made. It promotes a secure hold on the camera and eases any apprehension of dropping it. I particularly liked the leather guard tab which prevents the attachment ring from scratching the camera body. I would shy away from using the fabric cord attachment loop for fear of it snapping or coming loose from the handle.
