This is an excellent puller. I wasn't aware that bearing pullers like this one even existed.

To use it, you will need to completely destroy your bearing. This involves removing the dust shields, knocking off the bearing cage, and taking out the ball bearings, as the puller's jaws will take their place. The jaws have a flat side that allows you to insert them between the bearing races. Once inserted, you turn them 90 degrees, locking the ball side of the jaws between the two races, just as the ball bearings were originally positioned. You can then pull the bearing out of its bore.

I recommend adding marks to the jaws, as it can be challenging to ensure they are rotated exactly 90 degrees for maximum pulling force once inserted into the bearing races. This is a suggestion I would make to the puller manufacturer—orientation marks should be included during the manufacturing process.

At the end, this puller is meant to remove bad bearings only. Don't use it to remove bearings that you plan to reuse.
