  I have never seen a puller like this and thought what the heck. This pulls from between the inner and outer bearing races. You need to remove the side shields/ seals to get the arms in. Most you will nee to remove the balls as well. This can be a task (prep) with some situations. Be sure to grease the main thread. This thread is a very loose fit - disappointing as that usually leads to premature failure. The amount of times i will use this suggests it will be fine for me. There are a lot of sizes included with this set and you need to use the tightest that will fit the space in order for it to have the grip to pull successfully.
