  Finally I got around to buying this book which is written by the husband of the late Tejano superstar. It was surreal reading about Selena in the loving words of her husband.
  
  I was in highschool when Selena was murdered and it sent shockwaves through the entire music community as this lady was so young.
  
  This book relates the feelings of Chris the spouse and it shows just how much he still loves her to this day even though it has now been 25 years since her death.
  
  I loved hearing the story from his point of view and the information about her love of pets and children which never came through in the movie with Jennifer Lopez. This book had me in tears as it was sad and wasn't really just a retelling of her story or the what might have beens. It was more to show who she was and what he went through. I am proud of what I have seen as he went to a dark place but after a while he saw his way out of it and made the most of what he was.
