- Reviewed in Canada on May 19, 2024The Meross Thermostat was very easy to install replacing the old manual type thermostat. After the installation was done and the power was turned on, I just scanned the HomeKit code located on the left side of the thermostat and the thermostat was added to my Home. From my iPhone I was able to control it in seconds. I downloaded the Meross App and tried to add the thermostat to it, but it didn鈥檛 find it. I just had to quit the app and wait for few minutes. When I started the Meross App again, the thermostat was already there and ready to be used. I was able to adjust the brightness, temperature, On/Off, and to see the usage data.The media could not be loaded.
The thermostat brightness adjustment is working but at 1 it is still too bright in the dark basement. Most of the time May to October, the termostat will be in the Off state as I don鈥檛 need heat during these months. At these months the thermostat display is off/dark. And during the heating months I can now adjust the thermostat from anywhere using the Home on my iPhone. Even when the thermostat is off, it still displays on my iPhone the temperature and the humidity in the room. Perfect.
