  Phone works.
  
  Put phone in bag, fold hook and loop closure shut, and hook orange strap down.
  
  Phone doesn't work. Yay.
  
  Materials are fairly burly feeling nylon on the outside, and there's a polymer hook that seems sturdy.
  
  The bag is pretty tight for a 6.2" smartphone in a moderate sized case, so keep that in mind it may not fit your plus sized phones. A little more ample sizing would be better for modern phone sizes.
