  Firstly, they are not 8", they're 7". There is an image that, if you pay attention (which I did not) shows 8" at the top edge and 7" across the bottom. That's on me.
  Second, I used it at 375 degrees and smoke just poured out of the air fryer! That's happened every time I've used it.
