  Caligula came out in 1979, and became a lightning rod for criticism ever since. Produced by Penthouse films. it's been called the most expensive porno film ever made. The writer of the script, Gore Vidal even asked that his name be taken off the credits. But despite that, the acting from the three main actors is superb, But it's not an easy film to watch, as among other things, it contains hard core porn. But the Blu-Ray version has the option to watch the original version without the hard core scenes. You've been warned.
