  Don't think this will solve your car troubles. It is handy to read what is going on under the hood and also have have a firm grip on what the mechanics are meant to be working on for you. So it could save you some headache there. There isn't a whole lot it can tell you however. It gives you a CODE that you look up so you can diagnose your car. However, the auto-shop is going to have a higher caliber machine to test and find where the issue is located, pinpointing things. This doesn't do that.
