- Reviewed in Canada on January 29, 2024Edit: It seems that the unit I received is defective as the grooves in the jaws are not deep enough to properly hold the rings. Compare my picture to the ad, theirs is much deeper. The seller issued me a refund.
It does not work well with the 3/8" hog rings which is the reason I bought it. Once it starts to close the ring shoots out of the pliers before closing fully which makes it useless for my purposes.
This does not happen with the larger rings provided.
