  I am an experienced home sewer. This is a very nice pattern but l would not classify as a beginners pattern. Multiple sizes on one pattern. I haven’t sewen this dress pattern but will be soon for this summer, as there are no nice dresses for women these days.
  Sewing lesson for less experienced sewers…. For a good fit measure the back length to the waist on the pattern, to your back length to waist and alter (lengthen or shorten) if needed, or the waist will be in the wrong place when the dress is finished and result in a bad fit which will be unwearable. As all patterns are different, I alway measure all important parts of the pattern and compare to myself, then make the paper alterations, before the layout and cutting. Watch you tube vids for pattern alterations for guidance. Some vids are simple and others are more complicated depending on the alteration.
