  Clear display, nice clean design, simple operation. The controller also runs cool. A few negatives as follows: 1) the unit makes a slight buzzing sound. One cause may be that the internal switch-mode supply low voltage supply may be pulse skipping (for high efficiency), causing an audible frequency to be present. The sound is not loud (did not notice it at first), but noticeable at close range, especially when the unit is mounted on a small piece of plywood, amplifying the sound slightly. 2) The temperature reading tends to jump around a bit more than I would expect. For both of these reasons I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5. Having said that, it does the job.
