  Appears well made in all components. All the materials are soft where these should be. There are three straps - only two will be used at a time. The third strap is for a better fit if needed. The straps have a soft fabric, plus there are two wavy lines soft silicon on top of these straps that should make the contact with baby skin even softer yet aid in holding of the straps in position too. The ear muffs/pads are soft and a size that will cover a baby's ears well. The soft material that goes between the baby's ears is of a consistency that suggests that it will further dampen the sound that will be impeded by the external hard shells.
  
  There is a soft fabric bag with a purse string to carry the ear muffs.
