  Doesn’t work. Light and shade hang down loosely and cannot be positioned. This light is good height and arm seems sturdy. Just what I needed if it worked. Concerned also that the pole lifts easily out of the clamp base.
  Update: We got it to work. Design worked so well, we bought a second lamp that worked without any difficulty.
