  This is a great idea for sharpening knives. It is designed for wider knives though. My drawer is full of smaller knives, such as paring knives. I attached two Earth magnets to the end to move the smaller knives away, and it seems to work somewhat.
  I bought this 1 year ago, and the 400 end is losing its grit. Quite disappointing!
