Customer Review

We had a single, tiny juvenile mouse move into our apartment. We first bought similar traps to these, but without the removable bait tub. The mouse was so tiny and lightweight that it managed to twice eat all the food out of the first traps (the bait plate is yellow and one solid piece with a dimple) without setting it off. Then I bought some traps with bait included that were poison, but I really wanted the mouse to go for a snap trap so it would be quick and painless.

After a few days of hearing it rustling around I finally started checking 鶹 reviews and these were highly rated. Folks, these WORK, even with tiny mice that are so light they don't set off other traps. Set it up with fresh bait and within a few hours I heard it snap shut, and it snapped shut in a way that definitely killed the mouse before it even realized what happened, I'm sure. So definitely the most humane option and I am relieved it finally set off a trap.

Six traps for this price is great. Going to listen to see if there are any others, and if there are I will set these ones up again for sure. They are, of course, reusable, but I didn't really want to see the result so I just threw the whole thing in a separate garbage bag and disposed of it. And with six traps in the pack, as long as you don't have a huge horde of mice that would be fine. If you DO have a huge horde of mice, you can use these traps, but I would also recommend looking into the bucket-type fall traps. They try to go for the bait, then they fall into the bucket and cannot get out. You can then take them far, far away from houses and release them, or some people prefer to put water in the bucket so they eventually tire and drown but I feel that's a bit inhumane. However, if you have lots of mice that type of trap is way more economical as a single trap can catch 10s of mice at a time.
