  I bought this as a maintainer for my semi truck as it doesn't run for long periods during the winter when temps can drop to -40. It is heavy and looks well made, I can't comment on the waterproofness of it as I have only had it through the winter so far. I liked it enough to buy a second one for my tandem truck. I have it connected to 4 Group 31 batteries hooked in a parallel configuration.
