  After one season the floater is retaining water as I see numbers of other people similarly have. I don't want it to sink so I plan to drill a small hole on the top to drain it. This happened after a heavy rain storm so perhaps the turbulence accelerates the leaking. EDIT: After trying the drill the hole method I can vouch for this to help save the life when water fills. Drill the hole on top not too big, empty the water from the chamber through the hole and enjoy.
