- Reviewed in Canada on August 16, 2024A set of 5 sticky repair patches. I needed to fix a hole in my hammock from when a pencil that was accidentally left in a pocket went right through the material under 100 kg of weight. The patches were very easy to apply, just remove the backing.
This ended up being a 2 person job, one to stretch the material and another to apply and rub the patch in for better adhesion. I can see that for floaties or rubber/ non cloth expendable material this may be done easily on your own.
Do wait at least 12 hours for the glue to set in. We applied the 2 circular patches from both sides of the hammock fabric, which was slightly tricky to line them up exactly. You can still see the outline of the sticky so it doesn't fully blend in, even though it is transparent, and if you apply it on fabric, this part wont easily blend as "second skin"-type of adhesive would allow. For the price this is definitely a great solution when the alternative is buying a whole new hammock or inflatable.
