  Just received these and still experimenting but so far very pleased with results. Using on Nikon SB 700 and SB 910, both fit well and seem to provide the softening effect I was looking for. One thing I didn't realize before I received them was that the top (or bottom, depending on the way you mount them) was opaque with a silver reflector. For me this means that I can direct the flash output upwards if desired for a nice soft even light or mount the opaque surface on the top of the flash unit and direct more of the output downward. I haven't used any other diffuser, like the Gary Fong or similar sort of attachment, but for the price and the fact that it packs down to a minimal size means it's a good fit for my camera bag.
