- Reviewed in Canada on July 7, 2025My mat was purchased in 2021 and used regularly with a rotary blade. I can attest to the fact that the mat is not self-healing. I haven't been able to use it with a rotary blade for years as the bumpiness makes my blade skip. Instead it serves to protect my work surface from my scissors. It's a decent size, and works for a bit, but it's low quality. Buyer beware. I may try the cheap mat from Princess Auto. It can't be any worse....but the price is $32 vs $50 on 鶹. For quality you have to pay for a true seld-healing mat like the ones they sell in the fabric and quilting stores.Report PermalinkHelpful
