  I have had various brands of blenders and food processors that seemed unnecessarily finicky when it came to getting all the parts in the right place before it would start. I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of use of the Ninja.
  
  Some have said it is noisy. Yes, it is a bit. But it is only for a short time.
  It didn't make the kale completely disappear in my smoothy but it was chopped very finely and didnt catch in my throat.
  It didnt completely chop the ice for the strawberry daiquiris but the small pieces that were left were manageable.
  I have not tried to make any dough so cannot comment on it.
  
  Overall I am very happy with it...so far.
