    I did my research on Smart Ink and had found that some people were having issues with the Ink being read by their printers. Although I tend to stand clear of such a warning, those people spoke about how amazing Smart Ink's customer service was. With that being said, I decided to take a chance on this ink as I could not beat the cost. Even if I just ended up with just a new black for the price, I would be happy.

    I purchased the set in May, replaced the black shortly thereafter and just went to install the colours as they were now empty. Upon installing the colours, I received errors about not reading and that the printer would not print. I attempted to do what I could with my lack of printer knowledge. I emailed their customer support and got a response within 10 minutes. We emailed back and forth rather quickly, almost as if it were a live chat. Their customer service agent sent me to a Reddit support that I attempted to complete. This still did not fix my issue. After emailing back and letting them know that I was still having an issue, they requested my address in order to send me a replacement box ( yes box, not just the one colour, but the box of 5) with an updated chipset. I was surprised that they were coving all expenses.

    Fast forward to the next day at 7:30am when my dogs are barking at the door and I am shocked to see a brand new box of ink sitting on my doorstep. I tried the new ink and everything works amazingly. With that being said, I went from issues to fixed within 24 hours. Overall, amazing experience all around.

    TLDR: BUY THE INK!
