We use only soy now because burning paraffin wax candles makes too much soot! Burning that wax ruined our dehumidifier, damaged our walls, and turned our furnace filter black. I don鈥檛 think it鈥檚 very healthy either鈥specially if you burn a lot of them. This soy wax does not do that what-so-ever! It burns very clean and can be blended with a variety of essential oils to make really nice and creative scents. You can use food colouring to produce different colours as well - but we like keeping our candles white and not coloured.
We simply use small metal pails from the buck store (or 麻豆区 has them too) and regular wick. We add our essential oils, bake at 300 for 20 minutes, and use tinfoil to set the wick! Works perfect every time! The little metal pails won鈥檛 crack and are totally reusable, which we like! This Smiandi brand is a good product鈥lean burning and non-toxic! Comes with wicks and hangers too but were a little short for our pails. The included wicks could be used with shorter glass jars (baby food jars) or decorative candle vases. Very happy!
