  First of all, the games has the biggest roster in a Dragon Ball fighting game ever. Many of them are different iterations of the same characters, but not just a reskin, as the abilities slightly differ
  The story mode follows different story arch’s from the TV Series and the movies, allowing you to play as multiple characters and also make choices that might differ from the ones made canonically.
  The gameplay is deep, but the control scheme is really hard to master. And you will need to master it, as some battles are tough as nails. Forget about characters that are balanced, some characters are clearly more powerful than others, which makes perfect sense, but affects the gameplay deeply.
