  I really wanted to like this ereader, but it’s too glitchy. It regularly reboots out of nowhere. It also freezes fairly often. Another frequent occurrence is syncing issues, particularly (but not limited to) when I try to read from my phone. The book I’m reading now, however, never seems to remember where I’ve left off. I need to remember key words to search for to get ahead to my actually spot in the book.
  
  In the book I’m currently reading, when I went to highlight a passage, it highlighted the whole chapter, and it glitches and reboots any time I try to remove the highlight or lookup a word.
  
  The battery life leaves a lot to be desired.
  
  I like that you can easily change the warmth of the light.
  
  One of the main reasons I ordered the Kobo was to connect with my local library’s ebook lending app. Try as I might, the two accounts do not sync. I do get access to the books currently available to loan, but the Kobo doesn’t recognize when a book is finally available after I’ve been on the waitlist for months.
  
  There are definitely features I don’t like with the Kindle, but it is a better option that the Kobo by far.
