- Reviewed in Canada on February 3, 2016I have finally gotten a tool that I can use most of the attachments or a tool that has the attachments that I use. I am happy with this new Victorinox tool as it has three tools that I use regularly. Knife, saw and awl. I like to carve when out camping and tis tool has all I need.
The knife is serrated. The serrations are at the end of the blade leaving the first potion of the blade flat. This is where I fo most of my cutting and whittling and love the fact that a company recognizes that and puts the serrations at the end of the blade.
When closing the blade be aware that the liner lock must be moved the opposite way that a liner is normally used and is a little stiff.
The saw is longer on this tool which is really nice to see. It could be a little better at cutting but the teeth are small and it does cut.
The awl is nice and sharp and opens in the middle of the tool allowing you to really be able to bear down on your work while using it.
I don't think that I will ever use the tweezers and tooth pick but hey... it is the signature of the Victorinox stuff.
Overall this is the tool that I have been waiting for. A comfortable grip and has the attachments that I use most and is set up to be able to be opened with one hand. A little stiff but can be done. This is a very nice pocket knife/multi tool. It is now my EDC tool taking the spot of my backup knife. I really like this tool.
