  I have purchased Nikon brand batteries and non OEM batteries as well for my Nikon d7100. All have proven themselves to be good, but the Nikon branded battery for my d7100 held its charge much longer. In total I have four batteries for the d7100, but when I purchased the Nikon ZF, I opted for another Nikon battery. They just hold their charge longer and since the Nikon ZF does use power prodigiously, I felt more confident with the Nikon brand.
