I love how long the power cord is, it had no problem reaching across my garden to the extension cord that I had already placed under my patio. It works really well, there鈥檚 no problem with the water flow. The lights don鈥檛 really light up the spray, more just the water that鈥檚 in the birdbath. But the really disappointing thing is that I cannot control the height of the spray. There is a lever on the side of the unit that supposedly controls the height, but it doesn鈥檛 work. Mine shoots a good 2 feet into the air, causing a lot of splash, which empties the birdbath twice a day. If I鈥檓 home, it鈥檚 not a huge issue to refill the birdbath, but if I鈥檓 away then the motor is running with no water, and I鈥檓 afraid it will burn it out. So yes, I鈥檓 disappointed that I cannot control the height of the spray, as I am supposed to be able to. And I have to say, that, while I was writing this, I can see the birdbath from my window and a hummingbird just came and drank from the spray, which is pretty awesome.
UPDATE: I switched out the nozzle for a shorter one, and that has brought the spray down considerably, now it鈥檚 only about 8 inches high, which is perfect.
