I鈥檒l start by saying it鈥檚 surprisingly compact and especially when the lid is down it鈥檚 just a lovely sleek white box. When opened, You can put a stack of up to 20 sheets of paper.
The first thing about the way this operates as it is FAST!!! I made a video of how fast it runs a standard sheet of paper. I鈥檒l bring that fast. It also scans both sides at once, and the app shows your display of both sides and asks where you want to save it. That is just remarkable to me.
I thought the quality of the scans was excellent, I tried all different types of documents and it scans with precision and does a beautiful job capturing color. It does not seem to take thicker cardboard-like paper.
Installation is quite easy but you have to give yourself 5 to 15 minutes. I started by following the instruction booklet and going to the brother website to get the installation wizard going. I plugged the scanner into my Windows computer using the USB. I downloaded the drivers and follow the wizard, and the wizard even connects the scanner to Wi-Fi without me having to key in the password. It was very easy. I just follow the prompts.
The performance of this scanner is truly outstanding. The quality and the speed make it unlike any other homebase scanner I鈥檝e ever tried. Since I scan a ton of stuff, especially at fiscal year end, this is going to save me loads of time. So happy with the scanner.
