  At first, I connected one of these to the outside hose connection that goes to dual water filters to remove chlorine.
  
  What I noticed is that when we used the cold water in the kitchen sink, it would cause this to pop water out of it, which I guess is by design.
  
  The actual problem is that the outside hose pipe is connected directly to the kitchen cold water pipe.
  So any back pressure there causes the valve to open and close.
  
  But this isn't an issue with this one-way valve.
  
  When I put the 2nd one at the other end of the house, there was no issue.
