  I like serrated knives, and this one is certainly good for many uses. It's tough enough to cut meat nicely as well as hard vegetables, but it also does a nice job on soft vegetables and fruits. The serrated edge will last a long time, and the sleeve is a nice addition for storage. The only thing that surprised me a bit is that the handle is lighter than I expected based on the picture. I might have preferred a slightly heavier handle, but really, it's a fine knife, and it cleans well in the dishwasher.
