- Reviewed in Canada on August 30, 2024I bought this jump starter for my car or when someone asks for a boost - I was concerned about doing a jump start on someone else鈥檚 car from my car battery with jumper cables as I鈥檝e heard there can be problems and can do damage to your car鈥檚 electronics. I did my homework and checked things out and asked friends and decided on this one. Turns out my lawn tractor battery died and I was able to use the jump starter on it. I was in a bit of hurry and didn鈥檛 want to wait for charging the battery before rains came. It worked very well and the grass got cut in time.The media could not be loaded.
I plan to bring this with me in my car. It鈥檚 compact and light and comes with a carry bag to put the battery and cables in. The cables fit in easily and it鈥檚 a no brainer the way it鈥檚 designed. Comes with a nifty light too if you鈥檙e hunting around in the dark, trying to open the car hood and find the battery terminals. When you get it I recommend charging it as per the instructions before trying to use it. It connects to standard USB so I used my cell phone charger to top it up.
I recommend this jump starter ; I think it will give you peace of mind - batteries do die and you鈥檒l help yourself or a stranded motorist some day.
