  This is a great product! It feels premium and reliable, and I have had no issues with it since I have been using it. I have mine behind other items on the desk and I was worried that using the extender would increase some wobble when trying to move the arm around and I can gladly say that is not the case! There are no squeaks or noises from it either. Having the multi direction adjustable head is quite nice too, allows me to mount an SM7B without needing the mount extender for those microphones, depending on your setup, your results may vary.
  
  Well worth the money for what you get. Highly recommend, especially if you have expensive hardware, don't cheap out on your mounting solution!
