  The machine that we received is not the quality of Singer machines of the past.
  The end cowling was not aligned properly and the arm was hitting the cowling when the machine operated.
  The instruction booklet is confusing. Two sets of the same step numbers is confusing and hard to follow.
  When switched from Zig-Zag back to Straight stich the thread bunches up and breaks. Now Straight stich does not work.
  Dial controls do not operate smoothly and are difficult to turn.
  Machine is a mess.
