I stumbled across them one day and was super intrigued by the concept so I had to grab a pack...I'm now ordering several more and desperately searching for larger packs/more variety (though that doesn't seem to be available yet, which would be my ONLY complaint about these markers. I assume because they are newer they just haven't made bigger packs yet, and I'm praying they do soon!). My 5.5 year old LOVES to draw and colour, she probably spends 50% of her waking hours at home doing so, but between just being a kid, her destructive 3 year old brother and the damn cat always stealing marker lids to chase around, we are constantly struggling with solutions to dried out markers. I've boughten probably 4 of the 200 packs as well as many 20 or so packs of regular Crayola markers this year alone as we go through so many. I've tried putting them away at night or when not in use, hovering around putting lids back on for her, as well as some rather odd but creative ideas like duct taping lids together in groups of 5ish to keep them from going missing. But it always ends the same way eventually; missing lids, dried out markers and a very frustrated little girl (and mom). This is the solution we've been needing! I have had to remind her every so often to make sure she's clicking them back down when she's done with a colour, but for the most part she's done it without me telling her and they're definitely easy enough for little fingers to click themselves. It also only takes me a second to click them closed myself when she's done if needed, which is 100x better than the 5 minutes I used to spend (at least 5x a day!) attempting to hunt down all the lids and then match them to the markers...or not match them and then she gets flustered trying to find a certain colour.
I truly can not say enough good things about these markers! Whoever came up with the idea at Crayola deserves a huge raise and employee of the damn decade! I will be buying these Click markers for years to come without a doubt!
