  Very thick and strong, the silicone cap is not very bendy. There have been complaints I read about sand/dirt getting stuck in it and scratching the lenses when putting the cap on, but I don't really see the issue.
  
  Clean the cap regularly, and squeeze the sides when you're putting it on. The lips will balloon outwards and it will go on easily.
