I don鈥檛 like the ones provided on airplanes. This product has a transmitter mode that beams the signal from a source to my headphones wirelessly via Bluetooth. It also has a receiver mode that receives Bluetooth signals from a device and outputs them to a speaker. I don鈥檛 use the receiver mode much, but I imagine it would be useful in an older vehicle that doesn鈥檛 support Bluetooth playback.
