  This ladder stabilizer from Goyappin should allow safer access to roofs. These stabilizers can be mounted to the top of your own ladder which is a great way to avoid damaging your eavestroughs. While this stabilizer does add a lot of sturdiness to the ladder, you do have to be very careful whenever you climb over the top of the ladder with the mounted stabilizers. These stabilizers does somewhat get in your way and you will need to mount them carefully to ensure your boots can step into the rungs you wish to use. The current price of $100-10=$90.00 CAD is reasonable.
