  I think these drives are refurbished. Mine says 2017 ( i'm guessing quite a few do WD GREEN). The one I got is only a 5400 rpm. VERY slow transfer rate. I did a scan and it has crc errors in smart. I would not trust 1TB of data on this hdd. You get what you pay for.
