I think it鈥檚 gender neutral too, and having a toy that doesn鈥檛 require batteries, isn鈥檛 filled with plastic, or easy to break is a plus. The cars and balls are nicely sized, and easy for kid sized hands to pick up and place, even one handed.
I think this toy helps with hand-eye coordination, which is good. I think it gives younger kids a sense of accomplishment when they get the car moving. The cars also move pretty fast too, so they won鈥檛 have to wait forever for the cars to get to the bottom.
The toy is also finished well. The materials are all sanded, and it feels well built. There aren鈥檛 any rough edges that I can feel, nothing is loose, and the cars move really easily.
I think while this toy is expensive, it can be used for years, and even passed on when your children are done with it. I think the design is simple but effective, and the materials are high quality. If you鈥檙e looking to give this as a gift, I would say it鈥檚 also pretty nice, but I鈥檇 probably give it to a younger kid, probably a toddler, rather than an older kid (as it can get pretty repetitive).
