- Reviewed in Canada on April 19, 2025I鈥檝e been using this screen since February 7, 2025, and after giving it a solid couple of months, I can confidently say it鈥檚 been a fantastic upgrade for my 2009 Toyota Matrix.
The auto-connection feature is probably my favorite鈥攎y phone connects within seconds of starting the car, which makes everything super convenient. I primarily use Waze for navigation, and unlike other similar products I鈥檝e tried, there鈥檚 no lag at all. The responsiveness and reliability really stand out.
Because my AUX port doesn鈥檛 work, I use the FM transmitter for music, and it鈥檚 a huge step up from the standalone transmitter I used before. The signal is clear and strong, with no interference from other stations like I used to deal with.
The built-in dash cam is also really impressive鈥攃lear video quality and already came in handy. Someone tried to claim I hit their car while they were reversing, but the footage proved I hadn鈥檛 even touched them.
All in all, this has been an amazing purchase. For anyone with an older car like mine that doesn鈥檛 have a built-in screen or Apple CarPlay, this is 100% worth it. Super easy to use and adds a lot of modern functionality.
