I would never trust a guitar in this thing but that is not what it is intended for, it is good to hold my mandolin. Although it is a bit wobbly I could not imagine it falling over unless your whole house was shaking, but then you really got to ask yourself... Why is my house shaking? You got bigger problems than your instrument falling over.
