  If you need a magnifier to read all the super small print on pill bottles etc. then I can recommend this. It is definitely NOT 30X and if you hold it too far away then everything is blurry. I would say it magnifies about 10x. If I'm magnifying something, I don't want to be holding it only3 inches away from what I want to read.
  The light makes it convenient to see clearly. It's very big and bulky so if you are thinking for your purse, then I would say order a smaller one. All in all, does its job, just not exactly as the description.
