Great deep fryer, Its my first time using one (or deep frying in general -although not a novice at cooking), I found it extremely easy to learn how to use. If you're frying frozen foods, heat it higher than called for so that the temp doesn't drop too much, Ive found that even if it does drop - it still comes out perfectly. If youre cooking gooey batter, slowly lower the food into the frying oil to cook it before it hits the basket (if you're keeping the basket in) so that it doesn't stick to the basket. Try to strain and store your used oil in the fridge when you go periods of time without using it. I find a brewers gallon jar (the one use for making kombucha) is great for keeping it and straining with cheesecloth works perfectly. Its quick at heating, the safety cord is nice, the lid keeps the oil from splashing and you can still see through it. I've made churros, Doughnuts, southern fried chicken, fresh fries, frozen fries, and chicken balls so far. All have turned out perfect. I even bought mine from warehouse deals so it was a super price and in mint condition.

Update: Jan/2023 still using it frequently with zero issues! Working as perfect as the day I recieved it.
