I鈥檝e been using this to hold my iPad, and it has been absolutely revolutionary. I love the industrial look of it, and I found I could thread a Lightning cable through it without the arm losing much mobility at all.

The grip on the device is tight, and the device can be rotated 360掳 with no loss of stability (obviously my cable could get twisted, but that鈥檚 just my own particular setup). The arm is extremely manoeuvrable but still fairly rigid so that it doesn鈥檛 suddenly drop or lower your device. I disagree with the guy who used it to read his Kindle in bed; I use it for my iPad at all sorts of angles and never had a problem.

My only possible suggestion for improvement would be regarding the clamp: it鈥檚 plastic, and it鈥檚 only attached to the arm with a small bolt that tightens into a groove in the arm, so with a lot of movement it鈥檚 possible the bolt could come loose or the plastic could crack, though I haven鈥檛 seen any evidence of either phenomenon. There鈥檚 also the very minor annoyance that the top grip of the clamp is completely flat, so if the surface you clamp to has a ridge on the edge, like mine does, the clamp won鈥檛 actually be gripping to much surface area at all. Mine still seems pretty sturdy, though, even though it isn鈥檛 gripping to very much.

Overall a good quality product that does exactly what I wanted it to do.
