- Reviewed in Canada on February 13, 2025The 7-piece foam climbing toy set for toddlers has quickly become a favorite in our household, and after reading other reviews, I can confidently say it鈥檚 a fantastic addition to any play space. Here鈥檚 what I love about it:
Safety & Softness: The foam pieces are soft yet firm enough to provide a safe climbing and crawling surface. I love that they have no hard edges, so I can let my toddler explore freely without worrying about bumps or scrapes. The material is soft and comfortable for little knees, yet sturdy enough to withstand active play.
Design & Versatility: The blocks can be rearranged into various shapes, which keeps my toddler engaged for hours. It鈥檚 one of the most versatile sets I鈥檝e come across. The ability to set up different configurations means it doesn鈥檛 get boring quickly, and it encourages creativity and physical activity. My little one has fun building obstacle courses, climbing, and crawling all day long.
Durability: The foam is high-density, making the blocks durable enough for rough play, though they are not completely indestructible. The removable covers are great for easy cleaning, which is a must with toddlers! It鈥檚 great for the inevitable spills and messes.
Color & Appeal: The colors are bright and unisex, which I love because it works well in any setting. The vibrant shades haven't faded even after multiple washes, and they don鈥檛 bleed into each other, which is a nice bonus.
Size & Age Range: The set is ideally suited for younger toddlers. While it鈥檚 great for kids aged 1-3, older kids may find the blocks a little too small or limited in use. The pieces are compact, which works perfectly for smaller spaces.
Downside: While I love the design, the fabric, while soft, can easily pick up debris. The blocks are also a bit light and may shift during play. However, this hasn鈥檛 been a major issue for us since they are still stable enough for climbing, just something to keep in mind if you鈥檙e using them on hard floors.
Overall, I鈥檓 very happy with this set. It鈥檚 an excellent choice for keeping toddlers active, safe, and entertained indoors. Plus, it鈥檚 reasonably priced for the quality and versatility you get. Whether for a playroom or daycare, it鈥檚 a must-have for encouraging developmental play!
